[Spruce] It seems like Celes stepped on a few toes when she implied that the young explorers could be up to no good, and I tried to calm them down with "Celes, uh... ralts girl, please, calm down, and maybe we could help you guys with whatever your mission is," that... didn't seem to sit too well with the nidoran, who ended up saying "NO! You can't! It's super-secret, and the mission was given to us by that secret exploration society!" they... really didn't look high-ranking enough to get missions like that, but I didn't really want a fight to start in the middle of town, so I just nodded as if I believed them, which seemed to calm down the nidoran, somewhat. "Well, if that's the case, I guess we should just go to the cafe, right, Celes?" I asked my teammate, just to try to distract her from her fight with that ralts, and I started walking away from the crossroads, where everyone else was, but before I could get to the cafe, the nidoran approached me, and muttered "Um..." really quietly. I turned around, and asked "Yes?" to which she responded with "There are... lots of enemies..." I suppose she meant to imply that they might actually NEED our help with this, or at the very least, WANT it... but something told me that the growlithe and or the ralts on their team wouldn't be too happy with that. "Maybe you should tell that to the rest of your team, alright? Celes and I will be right here, in this cafe, waiting," I said to her. She nodded, and headed back to her team. After that, I finally took my seat, and waited for Celes to take hers.
[Anthony] "Right... I suppose we should at least TRY to get him free... I'd use my slime, but it seems to freeze in here pretty quickly. Josh, just a question, is the poison from your sludge bomb attack slippery enough to MAYBE help Reshiram get through?" immediately after that question, I searched my bag for any pecha berries, only to find it completely empty. "...oh... uh, Josh? Be careful with that move... I don't want to poison the legendary that's helping us if we can't cure that poison," I reported to the team as I slid my way back to Reshiram, who was still at the entrance, struggling to get through. "You came back? Why?" he asked, as if he expected us to just ditch him there. I responded with "Well, we couldn't just leave you there, could we? I mean, it's not going to be easy to beat him with you here, let alone withOUT you," Reshiram seemed to smile at that, of course, it wasn't easy to tell. Josh's poison didn't seem to freeze to the floor like my slime did... so... if it's slippery enough, it SHOULD be useful, here, but... I really don't want to deal with a poisoned legendary. I thought as I waited for my team to come back. I ended up looking at the mirrored walls, again, and I noticed that one of them seemed a little... off, somehow. I didn't want to say anything yet, but the next time we head through here, perhaps we could do something with that odd mirror.
[Nina] The snivy seemed to want to calm everyone down, and then he decided to try to offer to join us on this mission. Since it was top secret, I figured it might not be in our best interest to have anyone and everyone join, so I shouted out "NO! You can't! It's super-secret, and the mission was given to us by that secret exploration society!" somehow, that seemed to convince the snivy, despite the fact that I couldn't remember what that secret society's name was, or even if it was an exploration society, or a rescue society. After he started to leave, I remembered something about there being 'more than 300 pokemon' in the organization we'll be fighting, and the snivy's rank popped up in my head, again. Someone like him HAS to have fought countless wild pokemon by now... right? I thought as I walked over to the snivy, who seemed to be heading into the cafe. Oddly enough, all I could mutter was a quiet "Um..." but, as quiet as it was, it seemed to catch his attention, and he asked "Yes?" to which I responded with "There are... lots of enemies..." of course, I didn't say everything, just that we might be fighting a lot of things, and he simply told me that he'd be waiting in the cafe for a decision. I walked back to my team, and I bluntly asked the ralts "Do you think we're in over our heads with this mission?" of course, her answer would probably be 'yes', which would have me ask 'Do you think those two would be helpful to have along?'... but she wasn't the hard one to convince, Dexter was. He didn't even want the bronzor on the team, how would he respond to another team trying to muscle in on this mission?
[Bonnie] Eralion seemed particularly angry at that riolu, but Tini didn't seem to mind being in a dark, creepy cave with almost no lights. Eralion asked me to tell him where to go, but I couldn't see very well, so I said "The power of mint will light the way... whatever that's supposed to mean. Do we have any mint-type moves? I mean, Tini sorta smells like mint, but..." I trailed off as the sound of those thunderous steps grew closer, and I shouted "Tini! Uh... fairy wind!" of course, whether or not he actually did anything remains to be seen... what was I doing, giving orders like I was his father, or something. I shouldn't have shouted that, and why DID I shout that? What would fairy wind even do in this situation? It couldn't light torches, that much was for sure, and it probably wouldn't do anything about the water dripping from the ceiling, either, or the general moldy smell of the place. Whatever it was that was coming, it sounded powerful... and huge.
