BRING ME WITH YOU PLEAAASEE!" The catgirl sank her face into his stomach as she hugged him with alarming desperation. Elrend glanced down to speak but lost the ability the very instant he saw the big round eyes staring up at him and felt both knees go weak as his hand shot up below his mask, promptly biting his knuckle lest this exquisite moment be lost forever. SO CUTE! It was too much for anyone, and Elrend already had a soft spot in his heart for fluffy kitties and gods above and below this one was adorable! Hooking his hands under her arms again he raised the girl up and onto her feet, taking her hand in his they shook. Taking a nervous step back and wiping off his clothes, more to keep idle hands where they should be rather than any real attempt to clean himself, he cleared his throat with a light cough. "Mm. It's agreed then. You're in my care." Another bow of respect between equals passed before he straightened, already lost in the machinations of the mind. Of course he had an awful habit of thinking out loud when he meant to keep them to himself. "Mm. First things first we can't have a catgirl running around in booty shorts and a light shirt, poor thing would catch a cold or freeze to death! We'll have to stop by a tailor and fix that right up immediately. A quick stop by the leatherworkers nearby would let us get her some proper protection too, though thats her choice.." Not realizing he was thinking out loud, Elrend turned on his heel and motioned with his hand for the girl to follow before making his way back into town proper. "Weapons. Girl needs to fight to survive, so we'd best head to a blacksmith and get her something she can use.. Need to train her too. Acrobatics, tumbling, showmanship, fencing, cooking, foraging, basic survival skills. What about housing.." That had him stuck mid-thought as he realized a new problem. Housing would indeed be a problem. Elrend was a vagabond, a wanderer of the world, and slept under the stars most every night. Why waste money on a bed in a cheap tavern when a tent would provide just as well? Turning an eye to the young girl following behind him, he realized that might prove hard to explain.. The tent wasn't exactly.. spacious. "Ah well. Tent isn't big enough for two so she can have it. I've slept in the cold night before. I'll have to grab a thicker sleeping bag while we're out looking for things.." By now, everyone in town they passed were staring with mixed faces. Some stared at Elrend and his signature mask with open hatred as they had all likely run into him at some point, and lost a wallet in the process, while others stared at the magnificent and exquisite creature following right beside him. Ignoring all of the idle looks, he glanced at the cat girl. One final series of questions left. "Got a name? We're gonna be getting you some important stuff before the adventure begins and I don't think the shopkeepers would enjoy the idea of someone with my reputation referring to you as 'this cat I found'. Once we get to the stores you just point out what you want and we'll grab it. Oh, and the tent I use on my travels is yours now. Not big enough for two unless they're uh.." Another shy cough to clear his throat. "Comfortable in close quarters. But that is a problem for later! To the shops" A familiar blacksmithing store came into view in the distance and Elrend turned sharp on his heel in an opposite direction. "Every shop but that one!" He said nervously.
