I was thinking it would be against the law especially if you sent them after people.  And for the most part if you knew you could control them it would be too tempting to do just that.  There might be exceptions where people that control them were not sent to prison but they would be the exception not the rule.  

Nulls would be someone that were not effected by nightmares at all and did not have the gene either.  They would have a different gene that made them able to protect themselves somehow from that stuff.  They would be rare though so maybe one in ten thousand people.  That way the cops or whatever could have a few in the prison system and martial sector but not enough to completely be run by them.  They would be heavily recruited by law enforcement too so everyone would be on lookout for them to recruit.  

I thought we talked about that but maybe I just thought it and never said cause I reread what we wrote and didn't see it. Oh well.  

The detention center would be protected from nightmares outside yes.  And Maybe the reason Rexton was not sent to one was because his family had enough money to keep him from it and they did not want to have their name tarnished even worse by him going there.  

I like that you ask questions cause it makes me have to think and figure stuff out.  I am so going to write up a page of the rules and stuff we have figured out and post it sometime so that we can refer to it as well.  Maybe will do that in the character sheet section.  That way it will be separate and easier to find.  And we can add to it as needed when we figure more stuff out.
