The next morning Ele woke up to the sound of her cell phone ringing. It was the courier company calling to say they were coming up the drive of the resort and needed to know where to bring her car and things. Sleepily, Ele gave them the instructions as she got out of bed and went to the kitchen to start a pot of coffee. By the time it was done, the company had dropped Ele's stuff off and were driving away, leaving Ele with a much more sensible Tahoe SUV and her luggage in the backseat. Leaving her coffee, Ele pulled on her snow boots and went out to unpack the SUV, her mind still fuzzy from the drinking the night before.
