Klaus watched, the man under his arm paralyzed with fear as he watched his friends' blood get nearly sucked dry. The human might have thought them dead already, but he knew better and he frowned a bit as he gazed at the bodies. "There's nothing delicate about you," he said, raising his dark eyes back up to Riya as the corner of his lips pulled back into a half-smile. That certainly seemed true--she was far more confident than the newly turned vampire had met a couple decades ago as far as he recalled. "But I like a fight." With that, his gaze flickered back to Sarah as she spit on the pavement. He didn't tolerate new vampires very well, but they were easy to push around. With a shrug, he bit into the third man's neck, a hand gripping his mouth to stifle the scream as the paralysis was broken by pain. The blood was an instant energy boost for him and he hugged the man close to keep his arms at his side as he struggled. Klaus's mind was on the tick of his own watch as he gulped and quickly ten seconds had passed and then thirty... Then a minute and then two-- Unlike the others, it didn't seem like Klaus had an intention to drop the man to the ground merely unconscious. Left unstopped, he would finally pulled his lips away from a dead man's neck and drop the body before carefully wiping his lips with a handkerchief retrieved from his inner pocket. He pointedly glanced between the two others with a lick of his lips. "Now's not the time to leave your blood bags alive," he stated plainly. Riya at least may have caught his meaning, referring to the disappearing family member. Regardless, he was unsure how she had grown to feel about taking lives so he watched both with a impudent grin.
