You only need to pick a side of something that you can empathize with, even if you don't agree with it. 

In fact, I think arguing for what you believe in makes for the least interesting persuasive paper. Least persuasive too because your bias leaks out. Pick the other side. It's more fun.

In uni, I wrote a paper on why you should smoke cigarettes. For example, I went through all sorts of "Sexiest Man Alive" charts and showed how 80% of them smoked. :hehe The more dissonant, the easier it is to write.
