[@The 42nd Gecko] ...I need to downplay my characters more, I enjoy talking about them too much. I enjoy talking about characters in general too much, now that I think of it.
Nah bro, go on and o it more often. Makes the OoC lively. Plus it gives us insight about your characters/the perception of other characters that may not always be accomplished IC. I mean, I am kinda curious how other characters/players perceive the likes of say, Grafdakka. While the general consensus on Fran amounts to "She's a succubus", sometimes I do wish I knew what points about her to expand or improve upon to make it more fun for the whole fam. Which is difficult to do when no one talks about each other's characters, or if they're stuck in some form of Limbo ala imprisoned by angels.
[@Lucius Cypher][@Mega Birb] If I can bring up a few of my recommendations, I've found great use in Krookodile. I used him when I was participating in an unofficial league back in the day, and while it was singles, my boy found use in doubles as a great Pokemon. Krook has great power from using moves like Knock Off and Earthquake, all while maintaining some level of bulk by investing in maximum HP. I remember the time where he swept an entire team in the league by just existing, and while he unfortunately didn't make it to the very end, he had one of the higher KO-Faint ratios of the league. I've used Golisopod, and while I absolutely adore it, I've taken to using Araquanid over it for the time being. While Golisopod has incredible strength and priority, I prefer Araquanid because it can accomplish just as much as Goli while not having priority.
I found Krookodile and it's preevolutions pretty solid when I was playing on my sis's XY. I would also recommend Golurk, however I only do so because I've faced many of them in the Battle Royale who totally kick my ass. Just how people get their hands on it I don't know, and I find it totally unfair. Speaking of water types, have you considered Wishiwashi? That schooling is no joke, and with the right set up. Rest, Sleep Talk, Aqua Ring, and Scald has allowed me to sweep half the elite four, though to be fair I did start with Olivia and Hala. Only problem is that it doesn't have a very good variety of moves that isn't water type.
