He had never known his father, and in the few months that Jack had known Froggy, the man had filed in that father role for him. Thanking Froggy for his congratulations, Jack couldn't help but keep on beaming, as so many of the people he cared about came over to congratulate Tatiana and himself. Being able to spend this day with all of them meant a lot to him. He never expected, a year or so ago, that he'd live to see his wedding day. As Ash made the introductions, Jack nodded at Thana and held out his hand. He had to catch himself from thanking her for her service, a habit that still came up from time to time. His mother had always demanded for him to do that whenever he was younger and introduced to a military officer. "Pleasuh to meet you, ma'am," Jack greeted. And of course, having a friend for Ash was always a good idea in his book. The man needed some more joy in life. His eyes widened slightly at the alcoholic gift. While he never drank excessively back in the day, he had a good appreciation for alcohol. He tended to be a beer guy himself, but Ash's gift was amazing, and Jack felt almost too generous. "Captain, thank you," Jack said, taking the bottle from Ash. "You think she knows the chicken dance, solovey?" Jack teased ever so slightly, grinning broadly as he nodded. Tatiana would show him up at dancing no matter what it was, but he wouldn't have it any other way. As long as he didn't step on her toes, he was sure that it would be fine. Plus, half of the fun after that would be seeing Ash (hopefully) dance with his new friend. "Amazingly, thanks for askin'," Jack told Kris, hugging her back. As Tatiana left to go fetch something, he was a bit confused, and rather curious at what she was getting. Kissing her back, he nodded, trusting in his wife. He turned his attention back to Thana, accepting the second bottle of alcohol, feeling almost a bit ridiculous with a bottle in each hand. "You're in luck, ma'am, James is the finest cook there evah was," Jack added, hearing Thana's request for food. Thanking Niesha, Jack was still smiling, though he was mentally keeping track of where Tatiana was--or perhaps better put, where she wasn't. "She'll be back real soon, don't worry," Jack reassured Niesha. It seemed to her to be another pointless display of emotion and affection, followed up with a party for something that everyone else already knew was going to happen. The only thing that changed, as she noted Ash passing over a bottle to Jack, was that the two of them now had a private stash of alcohol. "I'm fine, thanks," Beatrice replied, pausing for a moment. "Never been to a wedding before--it's not really my type of scene...You guys looked good, though." She smiled ever so slightly, a change from her usual guarded habits and passive face. The entire event as a whole confused her, with Beatrice not quite certain where to go or what to do. At least, taking the seat with Ray and Tiffany, she at least had people to talk to. "How are you two doing? Well I hope?" Beatrice inquired. She desperately hoped that she wouldn't be expected to go congratulate the newlyweds--she wasn't too certain what kind of bullshit about romance she could spout to serve as a decent compliment for them.

Chloe Ridgeway

Location: The Rec Center (Building 7)

Chloe chuckled a bit, not meaning to break the system. It struck her as a bit funny that Ash put a bartender in charge who didn't know even the general tastes of different alcohols beyond beer. But then again, she didn't mind the slight awkwardness of the situation. In prison, there hadn't been choices, there hadn't been options. Best you could do is bribe the resident hooch maker to create a batch to your liking, and if you didn't like it, tough. You learned to. "Whatever you have is fine," Chloe added, not expecting too much of Jim at this point. But Ryan, seemingly familiar with the various alcohols that Ash brewed and attained for the party, ended up taking care of the situation. Mouthing a slight thank you to him, she struggled to not roll her eyes as well when Jim noted that the had drinks. "I wish I received a notification when I became an alcoholic, could've gotten double the AA badges," Chloe quipped with a sigh to Ryan, before giggling again as he downed half his drink. "Very macho," she commented, taking sips from her own drink. If they were being monitored as to how much they could have, Chloe intended to make her drinks last. Her gaze drifted towards the food area, spotting the creepy ass mute--Bryn--over there with Sana. The woman gave her the creeps, reminding her of one prisoner she had met who was almost instantaneously transferred out of min and into max. The alternative, of course, would be to go over and interact with Ash, Jack, Thana, and the rest. Both options seemed to be equally awful, but one of them came with food. On balance, the food seemed to be ever so slightly better. And as long as Bryn didn't stare at her, and Sana didn't pull any of her usual 'cherish your sister' bullshit, it'd all be good. "Alright, alright, I'm coming, I'm coming," Chloe said, rolling her eyes a bit at Ryan's impatience.

Ravi Chakrabarti

Location: Four miles west of Newnan, in the snow.

In an effort to spare his eardrums from giving out after years of overwork and abuse, Ravi stuck his fingers in his ears, attempting to block out the hideous noises spewing from Gavin's mouth. While he normally might have cautioned his friend that every walker in the area would hear them, it was too horrendous for him to even think. But of course, his hands didn't block it all out, and he still heard ever titillating detail of the song. Once he stopped, Ravi cautiously removed his hands from his ears. "Perhaps it's in your best interest that American Idol is no longer functioning," Ravi commented. "I hate to crush your dreams, mate, but that was piss poor." Rolling his eyes, Ravi once again wondered how Gavin was still alive. Rather than creating plans, the man simply rushed in and did whatever he felt would be best. He felt like there had had to have been a line advising against that in the pamphlet or whatever they gave to new rangers--but knowing Gavin, Ravi suspected that any instructional material he had been given had been thrown away just as quickly. "You know, perhaps your singing isn't half bad," Ravi mused, as Gavin started up again. "It may just repel walkers--I know it certainly repels me." He snickered slightly, grinning cheekily at his friend.
