The aroma is calming as you venture through, while the suns gaze pierces through the canopy warming the travellers. It irradiates a light that bounces off the white flowers complementing the aroma. Viktor has been heading further inland to his next city named Whelsheer, it is a city surrounded in dense forest which is said to drown out noise so well you may even miss the city itself. As dusk comes by the group finds an outcropping just off the dirt road a small opening which has clearly been used before for overnight stay. The shrubs have been cleared away and a circle have rocks left in the centre as a make shift fire pit, ashes remain from a few days ago. "We camp here tonight. Viktor, you and Asmund start a fire. For the rest of you set up close to caravan" Bellowed the leader as he halted the horses that were pulling the caravan. Viktor gives a nod without looking and grabs an axe out of the back of the caravan. Within a few minutes a fire is started the group have gathered around, food is being prepared ready for a small feast and soothing guitar is being played as well. Viktor has set up a hammock between two trees, close enough to gain the warmth and light from the fire, he lays there hands cradling his head slowly swinging whilst humming to the tune the guitar is playing. He gazes up to few glimpses of the night sky between the branches as his mind wonders to the smell of the food now being cooked on top of the fire. 'Mmm, pork with a honey glaze' The night fully descends, ambient blue light of the full moon covers the forest giving everything a crisp look about it. The group now sleeping as the fire crackles being only sound that emits in the area, enough logs to tide it over till the morning. Viktor this night has been struggling to sleep within his hammock, still gazing up to the sky. Even through the small openings its a clear sky tonight, suddenly a flash of bright yellow streaks through the sky the trail even lights up through the branches. Viktor sits up with urgency the streak lands in the distance, strangely no noise. Viktor’s interest gets the better of him as he hopes out of his hammock, a split second after he should have he tried to lessen his landing flexing down with his hands out. Luckily everyone had there fill of food and ale this night as there was no movement in the camp. Viktor packs up a small leather bag and picks up his warhammer leaning on one of the trees which he tied his hammock on to and makes his way into the forest, still following the remnants of the trail in the sky. As he makes his way through the forest the grass begins to get taller and taller. The grass is now up to Viktor’s neck along with reeds and the stench of stagnant water, soon enough he comes to a clearing as he feels sand under his boots. A large lake emerges with an unnatural light on the opposite side. Viktor with haste moves around the lake towards this light, as he gets up close the light is surrounded by an egg shaped metal box. The light bouncing off the cold metal surface Viktor then notices its floating. "What in the hell?" He stands there perplexed for a moment and the tries to push the metal box over, even with his strength the box merely leans over slightly but nothing more. As he tries to put all his weight into toppling it over a loud hiss occurs and the front plate slides open. Viktor immediately lets go with his hands in the air as if he expected some backlash of his efforts. Nothing came of it. He slowly peeks into the interior seeing many lights and various buttons with a single seat stationed in the middle. As Viktor climbs in he kneels on the seat to inspect the back plate before turning and lumping himself into the seat. The motion of his drop is suspended by whatever holds the box up, as he lays his warhammer between his feet he removes his bag from his back onto his lap searching through for a chisel of some sort to see whether he could take a sample of it and return to the group. As he searched another loud hiss as now the front plate seals shut. Viktor has no idea what to do until a monotone beeping happens and a blue liquid starts to envelope his legs. He tries to get up but as soon as the liquid touches a part of him its as if he has no use of it. He tries to squirm, moving frantically as the level raises now to his chest and arms which become motionless. 'This is bad, really bad!' Viktor was in dire trouble he thought, before he could think of anything else he took a deep breathe as the liquid now covered his neck and head. For a moment he felt calm like he was in his hammock and then nothing...
