Bruce breathed, feeling his exhalation disseminate throughout the chamber in time with the earth. The rock his shoulder had turned into crumbled from around Vale's sword, and his hardened hand opened, letting the blade fall. With a thought, Bruce turned the ground beneath the blade into quicksand before it even touched the floor, threatening to swallow it down. He was keenly aware that although his ki had spiked significantly, it currently ran more wild than before, unkempt and unpracticed in such a degree of strength as he was. He forced some of it back into the form of his blade, though it still sparked brightly and often. "Now," he said, turning his eyes toward Vale again.
