Prisma saw Pij coming from a mile away, and prepared his bladed hand. He feet lowered and met the ground, slowing his body and giving him the proper footing to target Pij direct. His blade coated itself in a chaotic energy, a darker blue shade, and with a single slice, Pij was torn in half. The Phoenix dissipated into an array of energy, and flowed back into Jenso's body to repair herself, unable to be truly destroyed like a true Gaian familiar. Prisma came to a stop and smiled. He begun to cackle, readying his newly formed blade for Jenso's approach. "Bye bye, little birdie! Just like all your friends! Your family, and-" Prisma was cut short, relishing the result of his attack, but as Jenso came rocketing out of the cascade of dust and energy, his expression shattered, and his blade, which has been lowered in pure arrogance, was not raised quick enough to react. Prisma's left hand twiched, and four of his clones spawned in front of him, conga-lining with their hands already in the form of dual blades. They all cross-slashed as Jenso came at them, aiming perfectly, and striking their target with ease. But one after another, despite their aim, found themselves melted into a puddle by the heat of Jenso's attack. Jenso left behind rows of legs, tearing through their bodies like dominoes. Prisma rose his blade, ready to slash Jenso in half.. In a flash of white light, Jenso rammed Prisma against the wall, melting away most of his body. Prisma's blade had un-formed, and he had both hands clasping to Jenso's back, trying to peel him off. His eyes flickered erratically, one half-closed as he struggled. Eventually though, he tore Jenso off of him, and threw him half-way across the room. Prisma Lurched forward, his body barely able to keep its shape. Visible, peeking just barely out of his chest, was his pure black core, with a single, hairline crack running along its side. That was it? That's all the damage Jenso managed to inflict?.. No, it affected him. It was significant enough to hurt him. Prisma's entire being probably revolved around that core of his. "Heh.. HeH hEh heH hHH...Hhh$%^#!^%@.." Prisma's voice began to distort and his body retook its form, with small sections still melted off. "No% to#ay y(* Wor)(-less li^^le r@n$! Flames.. Lit^&e Fl@&s.." Prisma's head began to twitch violently, along with the rest of his body. But it wasn't long before he composed himself, and rose his hands high above his head. Suddenly, his clones appeared next to him in the identical pose, each with different amounts of damage. He looked at Jenso, and his mask began to melt away, revealing a metallic face with an inhumanly wide smile, lined with white light. His head cracked to the side and he hissed a static-infused hiss.
"The fun has just begun!"
~~~~~ Vale's eyes registered the movements perfectly. He reacted, perfectly. But the speed that Bruce had retained was far beyond his imagination. He didn't account for it in his initial movement. With a violent twist of his hip, Vale turned himself in midair, and crashed against the ground, tumbling until he was able to re-orient himself. He looked at Bruce dead on. With one arm, he pointed behind him, towards the innermost sections of the temple. "I will not waste my life to prove a point to the ignorant, unrefined and clinging to a useless prospect. Now, I take my leave!" Vale announced, slowly clasping the stump that remained of his left arm. "There is no shame in defeat" Suddenly, the entire temple began to rumble. A massive surge of arcane energy thumped and pulsated from the center of the temple, where Jenso was fighting Prisma. Blocks and pillars began to fall, and Vale cackled, backing away from Bruce, towards the blocked off exit. "He's awake!"
~ End Of Chapter 101 ~
