Tarkus grinned at Jack's approval, not that he really needed it, he just didn't want her to get left in the dust when the time came to spring the plan. He finished loading in the rounds, 2 shining crimson rounds waited aside 2 of a deep aquamarine color, the two colors contrasted one another as they shone, almost like they were excited for what was about to happen. That or Tarkus has something in his eyes, maybe both. With one fluid motion, he gripped the chord for Panzerfaust and pulled, the same engine revving noise form earlier starting as the dust began sifting together into the center. The two dust types quickly mixed, at first refusing one another, almost like oil and water before merging perfectly, and simultaneously converged, neither acting as solvent or solution, instead merging as one substance. The Hammer Head began hissing as the metal grew hotter, the dust, while stable at the moment, was steadily growing heat from the fusion, wouldn't be long until it would force a discharge, so he had to make the one shot count. As he was getting ready to take aim, another bat came swooping down, trying to take him out before he could move. It was met with a swift swing from Cadeyrn, just because the thing was primed didn't mean it couldn't smack shit still. The searing metal collided with the Bat's face, not only sending it rocketing into another tree, it let out a horrifying screech, the other Bats must have taken it as a signal to charge, and so they did. They descended quickly, but hey, saved Tarkus the trouble of a few not getting caught in the cloud anyway. He aimed Cadeyrn near the epicenter of the black swarm, firing off the dust mixture, it instantly absorbed a vast quantity of moisture in the air, to the point of leaving behind heat haze, the air grew dry and hot within a second, and in one moment, a massive surge came forth form Cadeyrn. Steam billowed out like a valve, and Tarkus had to steady his footing to keep from getting knocked down as the steam billowed out, dissipating away from him and Jack, and rising as the Vamprie Bats did, screeching at their newfound burn marks and trying to get away from the ascending cloud. "Now's our chance to make a break for it. Don't shoot 'em until they get close, I got another idea." He said as he started to sprint off to where he remembered the W.A.T.C.H. had pointed, his body was glowing with his aura's olive green hue as he ran, oddly touching several trees and bushes along the way as he went. Soon those would start to emit a sound at exactly 21KHz, even if the Bats tried to follow them, the frequency would block out their echolocation, and most of them had gotten steam burns around their eyes. Not like bats had good vision to begin with. He stopped after a while, taking a breather behind a small bush, waiting and hoping that Jack would catch up. If she didn't get there quick, he knew he'd have to double back, even if he just met her, it'd be a bad start to a friendship if you leave your new buddy to get mauled by bats. He began glowing green once again, ready to use Echoes once more if she didn't get there soon. Location: Deathgrip Forest, D-6
