I made a reply in the IC regarding that, but after looking at your sheet, I can't imagine that it'll be a huge issue given the nature of the mission - 40mm mortars wouldn't have a massive explosive footprint. 40mm is the calibre used by modern-day grenade launchers, and the 70mm cannon wouldn't be as massive as modern-day artillery either, which tends to be 120mm+, so GEAR artillery wouldn't be the 'grid square removal service' of normal vehicle artillery. 
I figure its' role is more to cover other members of a GEAR unit or infantry working in concert at shorter ranges and in more tactical situations like this one, rather than blanketing whole areas, which is still the purpose of vehicle-based or Landcruiser-based artillery or missile systems.
