Okay, I think this is good. Mental illness wasn't ever really covered in Persona, as far as I was aware, so I wanted to try my hand at it.

Kazou Hanta
Age: 15 Gender: Male Arcana: Hierophant Equipment: Aside from standard school supplies, Kazou frequently carries with him a pocket knife from an old delinquent friend, and a recently bought top of the line smartphone. Skills: Kazou is quite the quick learner, and likes to play games when he can be bothered. Unfortunately, since he can't very often, he doesn't have many practical skills. Personality: Kouza is that kid who never does anything in class. He can been seen sleeping, doodling, checking his phone or even staring into space, but often he's not working. Due to a mixture of depression, laziness, and lethargy, Kazou often just can't be bothered. He also makes no attempt to interact with others, due to anxiety over their reaction to his mental issues. When interacted with, he often makes many deprecating comments on the state of the world in a joking manner, and is general very jokey and not very serious at all to hide his true feelings. When alone he is often very reminiscent of his childhood, and his junior high years. Biography: Kazou would regard his childhood as "happy." Then he was too stupid to see the heavily strained relationship between mother and father. His relationship with his sister was "filled with scuffles" instead of hatred. He found wonder and joy in games. Though his family soon had to begin moving due to his father's job, and how little it paid. This proved to create a good excuse in Kazou's mind to run away from his problems; all problems could be solved by relocating in his mind. In junior high, Kazou's father found a more stable job and Kazou himself found with a great set of friends. He felt genuinely very happy being around them, even if they were a bit strange and a bit silly. To him, the group fit together like a glove, and they hung out as much as possible. Or at least, in the beginning it felt like that. Near the end of his last year of junior high Kazou began drifting apart from the group and over the summer they never even talked. Fearing his friends had left him, he left too. His father was thinking of taking a job opportunity in Shikatsu, and Kazou expressed interest in following his father there, without his mother or sister. His father agreed to it. This transfer to his new school, "Uchima Senior High," has proven a terrible idea. This exile from his friends has triggered a deep depression which Kazou currently can't escape from. He has made almost no friends and his grades are failing. Negative reactions to his down state have taught him not to really interact with people much and he knows, or at least believes, he can't talk to his father about his predicament. For a full year now he's been suffering, attempting half-heartedly to get out of his stupor. Maybe soon, some adventure or friends will fall into his lap. Apparently this old school has a history of odd stuff, or so he's heard. Persona Name: Oedipus Appearance: Oedipus is a legless wooden puppet, shrouded in a toga pinned at the waist. In one of it's spike-fingered hands it wields a bloodied blade. It's face is featureless, save it's wide-brimmed traveler's hat, and a flowing length of gauze covering where the being's eyes would be. At the eye sockets are crimson stains that seem to leak down Oedipus's face. On it's back are the wings of a falcon.
