Duel Disk:A classic Duel Disk that does not connect or require solid light. It is a sideways Duel Disk based off of the KC mass produced model however the two sides do not join together and instead just flip down to become flat with three monsters zones being closest to him. There is a field zone on either side of his Duel Disk, these serve as Pendulum zones and the field spell zone is a slot above the Graveyard

Personality: Laid back and carefree on the surface but deep down he hides a burning will to be the greatest duellist ever. Burai hates to lose, especially to his half brother; his facade of easygoing nature usually stays up even when duelling, however when he finds himself in a tight spot or gets lost in the ecstasy of fighting a strong enemy that facade crumbles and his true nature of burning desire to be the best surfaces. This true nature burns even brighter when his ace card Core Dragon is calling to him or on the field.


History: Yura's childhood was far from perfect, his father passed away when he was quite young and his mother remarried within a year, he now had a new father and a step-brother. Yura tried to spend his days duelling with his new brother and fine tuning his deck and Duel-Disk; he quickly found that his brother was quite different in personality than him, or rather expressed himself more easily; but one thing was certain their love for duelling and hatred for losing was the same.
Yura tried to spend his childhood to early teenage years living easily and making friends; this however left him feeling not only empty but angry as well. Yura had spent so long perfecting his deck that most of his friends weren't worth the time, the only person who proved a decent challenge was his step-brother. Everything changed though one day, almost as if a something clicked, his brother started winning all his duels with minimal effort and no loses; that included the ones against Yura, this sparked something within Yura a burning desire; a desire to beat his brother no, to be the best! Yura had spent to long coasting through life so he opened the last gift his father gave him before passing away, a single Duel Monsters card with a warning 'Only open this when you find something worth fighting for.' Yura had read this warning many times and almost opened it a few; but now he knew he found it. Inside was a Synchro monster known as Core Dragon, Yura had never seen this card before but felt something radiate within him when he touched it. And so Burai Yura headed for the Saotome Duel Institute knowing that to fulfil his dream he had to start somewhere.
