just because furries happened to be big fans of the movie doesn't mean it was made for them. the standard disney audience is families and children when it comes to their animated productions, and since plenty of disney movies have had anthro animals in the past, it's not changing. kids like talking animals, so it's an easy cash grab.

a) i didn't deny the marketing, i said the movie wasn't made for furries.
b) it doesn't matter if the animator brought furries into it, that's one guy compared to a whole production team that took part in it.

aside from that, fabricant and whoever else was trying to do exactly what garland asked: explain what the appeal of rap was (to them, of course, as the appeal of something isn't a subjective thing and varies per person).
