The paragraph that referenced the “I’m a musician! I’ve listened to things!” was full of several, which is why I ignored it. Unless you can clarify, I never saw a statement or question that asked about my own knowledge as the paragraph was all just very weakly constructed comments that were stated to defend your point of view when they have nothing to do with wisdom or intellect regarding the subject matter. It was not a deflection, however; it was me simply stating I would not address the paragraph at the moment in time.

Yes. Some classic masterworks in another genre were made by entire “classrooms” of musicians with a songwriter leading them as a composer, which is a classical concept to begin with. Albums like Revolver [The Beatles], Pet Sounds [The Beach Boys], and a few others come to mind as the most notable examples in modern music. 

Hip Hop is no different.
