His sky blue eye's were surrounded by black, the edges of his eye's smeared with the dust of old wood and aging plaster long abandoned. Looking down he lifted his hands slowly from the sink to reveal deepened red splinter lines of wood still hard pressed under his skin, remnants of make shift stakes. Reaching forward he opened the drawer to the sink and pulled out a pair of metal tweezers, cringing slightly he slowly and methodically he ripped the thin chunks of wood from his hands letting them drop seamlessly into the sink. The tweezers then slipped from his fingers and to the floor their job completed now, letting himself slowly slide to the floor against the gleaming tile wall he positioned his back to the walk in shower and bowed his head placing his hands around the back closing his eye's, the events of the night were fresh in his mind, the images were vivid, too vivid, the details far too exact, his damn brain grasping onto the images like fine photographs. As much as he tried it was not just another night no matter how he tried to convince himself, no it was deliberate, it was a trap, and they should all be dead and that was fact. Not even the word helpless could describe how it had felt, his heart still skipped beats, wall after wall, stair after stair, the growls in the dark, the screams, the glistening fangs, the heavy footsteps of pursuit. ”Go home” Blaine’s eye's opened instantly as he looked up at the large bathroom, the voice rang in his head as he quickly realized that it was not the vampires that were bringing about this bout of anxiety, this fear... no, no, it was her. It had happened so quickly, they had reached the end of the road and the fight for their lives was about to officially come to its end in a battle of impossible odds and then like a tidal wave he felt her energy. No it was not energy it was something he had never before felt, it was ominous and it was strong, almost overpowering, no IT was overpowering. The images played before his eye's like a movie in a theater, every move, every staked vampire, every broken limb, she was more ferocious then any vampire he had ever encountered before. For months he had been feeling something terrible, something unlike anything he had ever felt, an now out of nowhere a girl just appears and ganks well over twenty vampires and by herself. But was it really her he was feeling or was it something else, if she was that terrible energy then why would they still be alive right now? No logically speaking if she had been that one she wouldn't have rescued them, if he had learned one thing such dark energy did not leave prisoners. But it did not take away from the fact that she now existed and almost as if out of nowhere, he had never seen her before and he was more then able to remember faces if not always names. What did all of this even mean? Blaine pulled himself from the floor as he walked to the light switch to the bathroom flipping it on. He slowly turned back to the mirror and looked at his pupils in the mirror, his sky blue eye's were glowing on an off like a weak christmas tree light that was about to die. He slowly rubbed his eye's with his hands, there was a split moment where the world around him seemed to slip into a black and gray colorless blob filled with static but it disappeared as quick as it came and things returned to their normal bleakness. The seventeen year old warlock in training could never explain what was happening when this event happened, truth was it did not happen often and when it did happen it was always when his senses were overloaded with extremely potent energy. The first time it had ever happened was after the fight with his father, it had lasted almost an hour, and hour where he slowly dragged himself around a tomb because he could only see gray blobs of static or worse nothing at all. An event that often plagued his dreams, that was needless to say but no it was time to stop thinking and calm down. There would be tomorrow for that he was bloody sure of that, for now... Blaine removed the remote from the sink and pointed it at the CD player in the corner of the bathroom, there was a quick whirr and music popped on. Blaine blasted the music the guitar riff's blasted in his ears as he moved his head to the beat, flipping the shower on he quickly got washed up. The water felt so good as the dirt and grime washed away, soon enough he flipped off the water wrapping a towel around himself exiting the shower, however the moment he stepped out he realized he was not alone. Standing before him was a shadowy cloak of black mass, Blaine quickly backed away as a pair of red eye's glowing like the fires of hell opened within the mass. It quickly moved towards him a hand of billowy flame like shadows quickly reached for him, he was powerless against it as his neck was squeezed his lungs deprived of air as he was pressed against the wall, the eye's... the eye's came before him and looked into his with seething hatred. ”The End. . . it is coming for you all. . . you boy will deliver a message. . . the blood moon calls and the Slayer will fall. . . these streets will be bathed in blood.” The eye's came in closer as Blaine could see images in them, images of death as in the very next moment Blaine's eye's opened as his body lunged forward in the waning light of morning, he bodily fell out of bed as he struck the ground hard. “Owww Damn it!” Blaine cursed as his breathing was heavy and the realization that it had just been a dream began to make sense of it. His body was soaked in sweat as he gritted his teeth getting to his feet, ever so slowly he entered the bathroom and turned the water on splashing his face before looking in the mirror. It was in that moment when his eye's spotted lightly tattered gray markings on his neck, quickly removing his shirt he saw the hand mark on his neck. It had to a been a dream but... Blaine swallowed hard as the deepened demonic like voice played through his head and he felt it chill him to the very bone. “It was a dream the hand mark is merely my body reacting to a very vivid dream that is all. Nothing more nothing less.” Blaine half attempted to pass it off as he splashed his face again but when he looked back in the mirror he spotted the figure behind him again, he quickly turned but there was nothing there at all with him. Blaine had to get the hell out of here, he quickly got his change of clothes, by the time he was heading out the door it was time to get to school and he was more then happy to oblige. Soon enough he found himself inside the study room within the library surrounded by his friends, however he felt no safer as he took quick looks behind him when no one was looking the dream was still fresh in his mind as his eye's wandered the room and then back to the table. He listened silently to Adam and Danny's small exchange, he smiled sly at it, but it was obvious that Adam had a hell of a lot more on his mind then he was letting on. An Blaine was pretty damn sure what was truly on his mind or at least would be on all their minds and that was the cute girl from the night before outclassing them all within a matter of seconds. ”Honestly Adam I am the smartest and the best looking here at this table and you don't see me complaining do you? I mean in terms of being cornered by blood sucking denizens of Hell it wasn't the worst night we ever had. Lets face it, out of all of us I have the most to lose here, if I get turned into a vampire I can never again look at my face in the mirror again and that’s the truly scary thought.” Blaine’s piss poor attempt to be his usual self failed, and he knew it, besides the dream, addressing the elephant in the room was something he was trying not to do. As far as last night went, things went from ten to one hundred in a matter of seconds and most of it was still on his mind, the bloody curse of having a memory that could remember things better then a stupid digital camera. ”Yeah I will probably skip math, its not like our ever lovely math teacher ever does anything but scold me for not showing my work. Besides as I am sure all of us are thinking, a certain individual showed up last night and kicked the holy hell out of a rather large squad of gankers and I think discussing that is more important then the sides of a triangle equaling ten.” Blaine became quiet as he let the cat out of the bag, there was just too much on his mind from the current events to pretend this was going to be just another normal day in their teenage lives. So with that in mind might as well get it going.
