Let not his silent, dark, buff, tall appearance fool you, however - the boy's one of the most passive, go with the flow kind of people out there, and many who do eventually get him talking are surprised by it. Most people, however, are sooner to be surprised by other subtle tendecies - his barely masked horror when asked to join a sports team, the abnormal amount of sparkly gel pens on his person, his poorly drawn cartoons of classmates and teachers. The latter of the three is perhaps one of the most shocking, as most know hardly of him, yet he seems to know much of others. Indeed, he's something of an owl in an oak - the more he heard, the less he spoke, the more he spoke, the more he learned - and that paired with a sensitivity for others and a natural intuition has made him a great judge of character. Yet despite this, he treats almost everyone equally, with a distant but distinct compassion. Like his closest friend, Tamora, there are few he trusts, and would do anything for those people with even a greater dedication than the homework he loses so much sleep over due to his mother's pressure. Even so, he goes a surprising length for complete strangers, and even those who wronged him. Those who wrong those he loves, however? To those, he gives nothing but a spiteful pettiness few can match. Brief Bio: Arriving in the US at around 10 years of age with a single mother looking for a better life (and better pay due to gender inequality in South Korea), Jeanie wasn't exactly familiar with the rangers nor their stories. He arrived in the US with a below average fluency in English, though that didn't bring down his spirits all that much - he was a quick learner and a dedicated student, as he displayed in his martial arts classes, where he first met Tamora. However, once those summer days had passed, it was clear that to many, he wasn't quick enough, often bullied for his back-then heavy accent and met with much aggravation in group projects, often blamed for whatever shortcomings in a group. And, needless to say since middle schoolers are something of satanic spawn, this meant he got beaten physically as well as verbally, but never once did he strike back, to Tamora's utter confusion. Eventually, she took matters into her own hands, fighting them off before asking why he just let them harass him. "My mom don't like to look bad," he responded, "but mostly because I'd rather not." Thus slowly began a strange but strong friendship between the two, Tamora taking on Jeanie's burdens and Jeanie doing all he could to make sure Tamora wouldn't get caught. It was from her he learned of the Rangers, and in what little free time he had from his studies would spend time with, listening to the tales and helping out in what little ways he could with her inventions. While the two grew up into very different groups - Tamora a street rat and Jeanie the loner nerd kid - and their parents not quite on the same page, the two are still great friends to this day.
