Perhaps you always knew you were a little funny, but could never quite place your finger as to why? If you answered yes to either of those questions, then you may be a good candidate for the Alucard Institute for Peculiar Youth. Our kind has long lived in isolation, slowly picked off in the shadows by hunters. Whether you are a werewolf, vampire, a witch, or simply a deviant, you're one of us. 

	Here at the Alucard Institute, you will be instructed in controlling and harnessing your abilities, as well as creating an awareness of the world around you. There are so many things hidden just below the surface, if you just take the time to seek them out. We here at the Institute do not accept applications--rather, we will contact you. If you haven't been contacted by us, don't bother reaching out. It just means you aren't necromantic, and we recommend contacting an asylum instead. 

	We are modeled after the British Boarding schools, and as of such, students at the Alucard Institute are accepted into one of three houses: Absinthe, Rasputin, and Noire. Each house has their own wing at the Institute and you will be assigned a room to share with a member of the same gender. These houses have been selected for you. 

	Summer term and matriculation of new students starts on Friday the 13th. Do not be late. [hr]	This RP is a part of the Abandoned Hope Universe, serving as a prequel for the deadly events in Altsoba. Standard RP rules apply and the lore referenced is assumed to be that used in Abandoned Hope and Horrors of Coventry. Additional lore will need to be agreed upon in the OOC before use. 

	Our characters are two students at Alucard, beginning the summer term in Absinthe house. These characters are safe from LLA rolls--other characters in the RP are not. Reason why? Simple. These characters are welcome to show up as claimed NPC's in the Horrors of Coventry. 

	The plot of this RP is as follows: the demon Mephistopheles has been attempting to break seals, in order to free Lucifer from his cage. He has not been able to find a righteous individual to break the first seal, and in order to prepare himself to move quickly, he has masqueraded himself as the headmaster of the new institute for children with abilities. These children will be trained and according to his plan, used to break the seals to free the devil. The goal of the RP? Simple. Stop him.
