[color=gray]Afecjtion and Seren were wandering through the city as Seren kept extremely near to her older brother. He stood tall as he moved and kept to a pace where Seren could keep up. Afecjtion smiled downwards to his younger sister. [color=teal]"Don't be afraid...I know you can hear those screams too."[/color] He patted the brunette haired female's silky locks. She clutched onto his leg and eyed around. They both could hear animal screams throughout the metropolis. Notably the ones of the Lessers expiring. 

As they walked past allies. Afecjtion didn't appear to be truly tense or even shift an inch from the uproars that echoed out from the poorly lit places. While Seren would jolt or latch on to Afecjtion s lower limbs harder. 
Though they past this one ally which had a strange noise beaming out of it. No one was in there. Then a lesser jumped out. Afecjtion grabbed Seren and jumped out into the road. A car slammed on their breaks as it just stopped in time. Afecjtion drew his sword and held it with his left hand swinging it round his wrist and catching it. [color=teal]"Bastard"[/color] He growled. [b]"HEY! You crazy maniac! You could've killed yourself and that little girl. Get the HELL OUTTA THE ROAD!"[/b] The driver shouted at Afecjtion. As he glared back at the driver, he seemed not to be so impressed with the yelling. The lesser lunged once more. Afecjtion swung his sword holding his pointer and middle finger of his right hand on his left wrist. Hearing the lesser scream out. Afecjtion didn't hesitate to curve his sword and rip up on the beasts flesh. Kicking it right in the mid torso area. He slammed the creature to the ground. [b]"Wh-ah-what the hell is that thing!?"[/b] The driver shouted with fear. As Afecjtion kept his foot pressed on the creatures chest. Decapitating it right away. 

Afecjtion put his sword back into the sheath. Turning to his sister who stood so very quiet pleased him as he returned a smile to her actions. She giggled and smiled back running up and grabbing onto his leg. [color=7ea7d8]"Up...I want up."[/color] She did the grabby hands up to him. He picked her up and smiled at her as he held onto her. Holding her close the driver stepped out of his vehicle. [b]"Dude what did...I'm calling the police!"[/b] The male started freaking out as Afecjtion got sense. He didn't say anything towards the humans threats. 

He then started walking away. [b]"Hey stop. I said stop!"[/b] The human shrieked. Afecjtion looked over his shoulder and titled his head. [color=teal]"No."[/color] He stated calmly as he then started running off. Afecjtion didn't know how to handle humans very well. Hearing the human shriek in the background. Afecjtion hid round a corner before running along the pavement. Making his way anywhere he and Seren could hide. 

As he heard more noises he was slightly more tense since he ran into a lesser already. In the first ten minutes of being in this city he has ran into one lesser, an angry driver and had to run. Afecjtion was already deciding to just get through this city as quick as possible before anything else could happen. He didn't care if he was hurt or half dead. The only thing on his mind was to keep Seren safe even if that meant suffering. Though he had a mindset of staying alive for no one else would protect Seren. 

Seren grabbed onto his neck and played with Afecjtion's light brown locks. Causing him to slow his pace before he stopped and looked at her. [color=teal]"What are you doing little one?"[/color] He asked. She titled her head and giggled shoving her face into his chest and rubbing her face up against his body. She giggled more. [color=7ea7d8]"I'm happy."[/color] She giggled and peeked up to him. Afecjtion's expression furrowed as he seemed to be confused on why she was acting like this. 

He then slowly set her down again. [color=7ea7d8]"AHH! I want up!" [/color]She cried out and lifted her hands again and bounced a few times to be picked up again.[color=teal]"Love, I can't hold you the whole time we're in this place. It's dangerous and if your against my chest the whole time. That's the first place people strike."[/color] He then got down on his knees as he noticed she was stopping her attention towards him and crossing her arms. He sighed then grabbed her chin, so she was looking at him. [color=teal]"I do not mean to upset you princess but I do not want to put you in danger. As your older brother. I swore on our parents graves I wouldn't let harm get to you."[/color] He looked at her, and she flushed up with anger.[color=7ea7d8]"But I want up!"[/color]She screamed. He then stood up. [color=teal][i]"You are in a grumpy mood...You're usually happy..."[/i][/color]He mumbled.[color=teal][i]"...you were happy a moment ago."[/i][/color]He sighed and looked down at her.[color=7ea7d8]"I want up, though...please..."[/color]She whined and held her arms up again.[color=teal]"Fine.But please don't whine like this again."[/color] Afecjtion said with annoyance in his voice as he picked little Seren up and began walking once more. She cuddled up into his chest again. As moments grew she became tired. Barely staying awake as he walked around.
