We have been ganking them for what a good year now and yet tonight was the first night they decided to lay a trap for us? No its too simple, too straight forward for my tastes, if we had pissed them off that bad they wouldn't have waited so long to come at us in force.” Blaine absently reached into his black pack and yanked out a large can of Monster, he opened it as it lowly hissed and took a rather large drink from the can before setting in on the table. Sitting back in the chair he crossed his arms in a rather well known thinking position. There were just too many coincidences, and he did not believe in coincidence. As his mind wandered he thought about the dream he had the night before, slowly reaching up he touched his neck and it was still a tad tender. The feelings he had been getting, the trap, the dream, this new girl, it had to be related somehow someway, even in this hell hole drastic change was not a normal thing. The words played through his head from the dream and the events from the night before played through his head, he mashed them together silently. “Message... Slayer...” Blaine spoke under his breath almost absentmindedly as his diverted his eyes to the rest of the group, his mind was one big jumble of thoughts and half conclusions as he took another quick drink from his Monster before speaking. “Something changed or something is changing, I feel like that is the only logical explanation. An the sudden appearance of this... girl can't be coincidence. As far as things making sense that has never happened in this town but... something aggravated those vamps something or someone. I don't think it was us, lets face it, to them were small time, always will be, a bunch of teenage misfits don't warrant a hit squad with a plan. But a one man or rather one woman killing machine on the other hand...” Half demon the words seemed to resonate in his head, it seemed logical because no mere human could do what that girl did last night. But what did that mean for them if it were to be true? Even more so why would a half demon not only protect them but then beckon them to go home... the words were cold, chilly even still replaying them in his head. Blaine had never meant a demonic entity and his knowledge was all based on readings, and he just couldn't wrap his head around it, but he couldn't disapprove the theory either and facts were facts. He had never felt such a fierce presence in his life who's to say she wasn't a half demon? Its not like he could really tell the others his thoughts though he they weren't even aware he could feel energy's and god willing he was going to keep it that way, at least for now. “In some ways I can agree she might be half demon, they are cold blooded killers with terrible power. But if that was the case then why are we alive right now? Everything I have ever research on demons is that they don't differentiate between human or supernatural unless they have some purpose for doing so and I would imagine half demons would be no different. Then again maybe the things I researched are not even accurate and I truly know nothing about demons at all. Regardless though I think Victoria is right, maybe we should talk to the Librarian, who knows maybe he can give us some sort of... advice on the matter or a different perspective we can work with. For now I think we should be a bit more careful until we know more, we got lucky last night doesn't happen much in this place.” Blaine went silent again taking small sips from his Monster, it was probably for the best that he didn't mention his dream or whatever had happened, at least until he could make more sense of what it meant. It did however make him think of something, Slayer derived from the old English word Sley which meant to massacre, butcher, murder, it made him wonder if Slayer pertained to an entity or... a person. If it did then for damn sure he would label the girl from the night before a Slayer. An message the only thing that came to mind was a battered and broken vamp who was bade to send a message. Blaine shook his head silently, coincidence? Yeah coincidence my ass.
