Makoto walked up the steps to the Academy with a more deliberate, slow pace. She drank in the view of this familiar and yet anxiety provoking place. She had been aware of the person walking behind her, but it wasn't until they rounded the same corner as her and began to walk the steps did she realise the implications. Makoto turned, deciding that she should be friendly as the other student would be heading to see Batman as well. 

[b][color=fff79a]"Good afternoon."[/color][/b] Makoto said, flashing a small cordial smile. [color=fff79a][b]"Are you attending The Academy this year as well? I'm on my way to see Batman. Want to join me?"[/b][/color] It was better to offer kindness than to awkwardly walk don the halls with the girl following her. Plus, this school and its residence had shown her so much care already and she wanted to pass that along.
