Kassy looked over to Draco with a warm smile, nodding over his outfit. “I like yours. You look very ready for battle. I don’t know how this machine knows what a palace guard wears, but my armor is mostly cloth and shark leather. It holds up well and it bends easily.” She looked down at her feet, seeing that they were bound in matching sandals with woven straps up her knees. “The shoes are new, though… I sort of miss my tailfin, wearing this outfit. Oh well.” She looked out toward the warehouse, where who knew what waited. “I’d rather not fight you, you know. It won’t be nice.” Plus, he would probably want a new partner, right? Once he found out what she could do. -- Jin chuckled as she took a seat near the tall, lanky boy, a bit embarrassed about his admonishing her for swearing. “Yeah, I guess it does. I’m Jin. Jinayah, really, but I only ever hear that when I’m in trouble.” She stuck out her hand boldly to shake. “I decided to do some practicing with my powers. I overdid it - again – got a headache and had to sleep it off.” One hand went up to rub her forehead in a nearly subconscious motion. “It’s kind of embarrassing. Who ever heard of having too much power to deal with?” With a sigh, she flopped backward in the chair. “My father says he’ll send me to some special boarding school in Russia or Siberia or fuckin’ Transylvania if I don’t behave myself. Something about spiders.” Jin shrugged and leaned back even further, balancing the chair on two legs. “So – if you don’t mind my asking, what can you do?”
