But the notoriety either hadn't worn off, or she took such a genuine interest--more likely the later--that she paid close attention as Carolina's eyes rolled backwards, and the girl collapsed on the bed. Had she not been able to see her roommate breathe, she would have hypothesized that her deviance was turning into a corpse. "Descensum?" October guessed. It was a rare power, one that only the most advanced witches generally were able to accomplish. It allowed someone to plunge their soul into hell, all of their own volition, and then return to tell the tale. But as the lights started to flicker on and off, October grinned a bit in realization. "You're a soul walker, then?" she inquired. It was an old fashioned term for those who practiced astral projection, and October looked excited at the prospect. The girl was enchanted by all things weird. "I don't suppose you can communicate with me beyond anything a ghost can do? Though I'm not terribly familiar with soul walkers..." She placed her bag on her own bed, noting that her suitcase filled with clothing and other belongings had already been placed underneath it. The Institute was efficient, to say the very least. She couldn't help but ponder how they had brought all of their belongings inside so quickly, but the Institute was filled with necromantic individuals. The impossible was a reality, it was par for the course.
