He might have made some sort of comment to Tatiana, a knowing grin on his face. Instead, he was entirely focused on his wife and the news that she had shared with him. It boggled the mind, to say the very least. Nodding, he kept his arms around her, holding her in there. "Guess you'll want to take it easy and all," Jack commented. "You know, I'm one hell of a dancah--I can fill in, do some chicken dances. Get people pumped and all." He grinned slightly at her. He was cordial and polite with Meg, as always. Grinning and nodding and thanking her at all the right places. But his mind was still having little spasms at the news. As Tatiana leaned in and whispered her question, his eyes widened slightly. He hadn't even begun to think of that yet. Nodding, he whispered back a reply to her quickly, softly enough that no one else could hear. Pulling away, he was grinning as he put an arm around his wife again, blushing slightly as he recalled Meg was there. "So, Meg, how you doin'? Enjoyin' yourself?"

Beatrice Decker

Location: The Rec Center (Building 7)

Beatrice honestly hadn't expected Tiffany to do anything else, as the woman excused herself and went over to help Ray. She tapped her fingers lightly on the table for a moment, looking forward to changing out of the dress when she got home, and having some space to herself. She understood the intentions behind a wedding--but she just wasn't a big fan of romance. A parody on a gameshow would have left her feeling largely the same way, if that event occurred instead in Newnan. Watching the people over at the food table, she noticed the irritatingly sweet girl, Niesha, fixing up plates for the two of them. It baffled her how people so kind and naive had survived this far. They never made it long on the streets of Justice, but somehow, they had survived four years of walkers. Perhaps Newnan had made them soft--it was the only explanation that she could think of. A fair deal of people seemed to have sprung into action to help the crippled man, while simultaneously holding back chuckles. She noticed Tiffany putting an arm around him, and she got up from her own seat, pulling out a chair for Ray, to make things easier once they got over there. It was a small gesture, but a gesture nonetheless.

Chloe Ridgeway

Location: The Rec Center (Building 7)

As Ryan patted his lap and began to snicker, pulling a chair out for her, Chloe made the face. It was the face associated with little kids who were told they had to eat their vegetables, high schoolers who had to take another standardized test, and those who found out they won the pageant by accident and thus would lose their crown. She very purposefully kept her eyes away from Ryan's lap, knowing too damn well what he was implying. It wasn't that he just wasn't her type--he was just so incredibly persistent. "I'd need to be blackout drunk for that to happen," Chloe said, her tone not clear whether it was a joke or a warning. Sitting next to him, she sat her plate down on the table, and took another swig of her drink. More people seemed to be coming and going, and she wished she had some sort of idea when Riley was going to go on next, so that way she could watch, make her farewells, and go home. At that moment, locking herself away in her room and writing sounded like a good time. Munching on her food, she closed her eyes for a moment, savoring the taste. James had really outdone himself. She tried her best to savor it, rather than shoveling it in at the speed of light like her unwitting male friend, who seemed to pretend to be her boyfriend, did. "After Riley sings a few more, I think I'll bounce." She was dying to find out the information Ryan had hinted at earlier--something overheard, relating to their roommate, Dick. But for now, they'd have to find a way to pass the time--beyond snarky remarks of no substance. A few basic questions to poke Ryan with came to mind, but most of them would open up a discussion best held away from the rest of Newnan. People tended to get jumpy the more they were reminded that the old government had put lengthy prison sentences on their heads. Chloe was supposed to be serving twelve years in maximum security herself. "So, Ryan," she paused, waiting to get his attention. "What's the weirdest thing that happened while you were in the joint?" She figured the man'd have a hilarious story to tell. He usually did.

Ravi Chakrabarti

Location: Two miles west of Newnan, in the snow.

Ravi snorted slightly at the explanation, but there wasn't much point in protesting it. Nothing either man said to the other would cause them to abandon their patriotism. It was part of the reason Ravi still carried his green card on him--that, and an ironic fear of being deported the minute a stable government was restored. He was pretty certain that the bureaucracy would do something to fuck with him, if ever reestablished. Plus, he looked damn fine in that photograph. His beard had been on point. Thinking back to it, he straightened out his beard once more, continuing to sign along with Gavin. "Never do with. Never never never never never do with you~!" Ravi sang, doing the disco hands as he went. When they reached the close of the sign, he took a slight bow, chuckling a bit as he did so. "So, O Wise Navigator, how much longer will this forced march be? I'm not sure we have enough duets left to past the time, given that that was the last duet..." From the shit-eating grin on his face, the Brit was incredibly please with that bit of wordplay. "Are we heading to Father Christmas' place up North?" Ravi teased. "Or will we stop before we reach it?"
