Well, to briefly explain My Hero Academia, the majority of people on the planet are born with 'Quirks', which are superpowers (like, 80% of people have them if I recall). As such, superheroing is something that requires training and licencing by schools and associations (vigilantism exists but it is largely frowned upon). As explained in the OP, your character would be someone with a Quirk who entered or was entered into an institute intended for outcasts unable to apply to more well known establishments (partly explained [url=http://www.roleplayerguild.com/posts/4268873]here[/url]). You might want to snoop around the wikia, at least the page that explains [url=http://bokunoheroacademia.wikia.com/wiki/Quirk]Quirks and gives examples[/url], so you know where to start. Also consider reading the sheets posted in the OOC for a few example characters.
