(Still Accepting!) You are an ordinary young adult, attending an ordinary college for an ordinary degree. Sure, there are sports, martial arts classes, gyms, and shooting ranges at school and around town, but those classes are the closest you have to any action adventure. That is...unless you are one of a handful of unfortunate (or fortunate, depending on your attitude toward the whole thing) students. Oh wait...you are one of the students I was talking about, one of the ones who recently started having those really life-like nightmares of the school and town. Now on top of all the exams, work bs, and social life drama, you gotta survive these nightmares every night. Well that sucks, but hey, you're not alone, as other students are winding up in the exact same Nightmare, and there are plenty of ways to prepare each day before hand. Perhaps you will even solve the mystery of the Nightmare, and free yourself from it. Obviously, without the college it would be like any other quiet small town, with little to do as far as hobbies, but the student population has brought about plenty of a market for coffee shops, gyms, and various recreational activities such as dance classes and playing musical instruments. In addition there is a small town charm, with beautiful old homes and a couple old churches. Most of the population that isn't made up of students either works in the farms around the outskirts of town or in one of the factories or plants on the far West side. The school is mainly geared towards engineering but you can still get most other degrees like accounting, or psychology or even liberal arts. Hell, it even has a few trades programs. In addition to the degree options, the school has its own sports teams, archery range, and various clubs. This school not only has a high acceptance rate, but many graduates of this college report successfully finding well paying jobs in their field shortly after graduating. There might be a few other "people" in this reality, but you should be weary of them too. Everything has the same general layout, but the buildings are dilapidated, the town is in ruin, and some things are totally changed. In fact, some small details do seem to change every now an then. It is eternal night, and it is a more lethal environment (lots of sharp metal debris, barbed wire, etc.) After about 8-9 hours, or whenever you set your alarm, you awake, and are free from this world...until you fall back asleep again. [/hider] Rules: 1. Don't be OP. Make your character somewhat realistic. It would be really hard to be overall extremely fit, a badass in all martial arts, a deadeye with all ranged weapons, know how to hack, lockpick, repair everything, and be extremely charismatic. In fact that is likely impossible especially have all this accomplished by 18-25. 2. I have no intention of killing anyone off too soon, or at all really, but have your character do something insanely stupid, like jump into a crowd of enemies unarmed, and you're just asking he be killed off 3. Curse all you want, and romance can be taken to PG 13, but please take it to pm if you must be graphic. 4. Also, don't fight, haze, or bully anyone in the ooc 5. I will be up front and say I won't have time to post here every day, so I have a Co-GM, Dealdric. Obey him like the gm 6. No time skips without my permission 7. Don't take control of one of my NPCs without my permission, and dont control or auto kill major enemies. 8. Try to avoid one line posts 9. Characters can and will improve throughout the rp depending on their actions, kind of like an action rpg. The stronger your character starts as, the slower these improvements will be. And please dont have your character be a master of some skill not discussed in his/her cs. 10. You may edit your CS, with my permission of course, before your second post. The edit has to be accepted by me though first. 11. I might update this list. If I ask you to edit or to stop doing something, listen.
