[b]Personality :[/b] Strong, determined and, at times, ignorant and impulsive. Much like other angels, Castiel lacks a certain amount of ability to empathize, but after coming to know the Winchester brothers many centuries ago, he has learned to be kinder and has formed a certain soft spot for humanity in general. Unlike some of his brethren, Castiel still has faith in God, but not to a zealot-like extent. He often admits that he doesn't always understand what God wants and he may question His reasoning, but Castiel alway tries to follow his Father to the best of his abilities. This, along with his fondness for humans, has often led other angels to label him as being weak or naive, but also somewhat peculiar. For a long time Castiel was treated as an outcast in Heaven, but in the centuries that have passed, amends have (mostly) been made. Still, despite largely keeping to Heaven these days, Castiel manages to keep an eye on the Winchester's descendants, feeling a certain sense of obligation to their family due to the friendship he had with Sam and Dean.
