[color=fdc68a]Location:[/color] The Alucard Institute for Peculiar Youth[/center][hr][hr]October seemed almost disappointed at the prospect of having to leave the room. It was evident that she was interested and fascinated by the occurrence. She had never seen something quite like that in a seance before--usually, the spirits inhabited one participant as a mouthpiece of sorts. But the frost on the ground? That was something entirely new. [color=fdc68a]"One moment, spirits don't take too kindly to others reading their communications."[/color] She then held her hands over the frost, just close enough that as she set them aflame, the heat melted the message away--but not close enough to set the wood ablaze and burn the Institute down. 

Once her hand was no longer engulfed in flames, she took Carolina's offer and rose to her feet. Rolling her wrists a bit, her wrists cracked, and she smiled a bit. It always was a small way of relieving a bit of tension, and her joints tended to feel much better directly afterwards. [color=fdc68a]"What's your family like, then?"[/color] October inquired, as they headed down the spiral staircase, and into the foyer of the Institute.

Most everyone was there, though one boy jumped from the top of the staircase, only to glide down, as if he was holding onto a hundred balloons to keep himself partially afloat. When he reached the bottom, his feet never quite did touch the ground, always hovering by at least a few inches. There was another student standing next to them, their face entirely concealed with glasses, bandages, and a mask. 

[color=red]"It seems none of you have perished yet--very good,"[/color] Faust observed, standing in front of the door. [color=red]"You will all work in pairs tonight. Your objective? In the nearby town of Saranac Lake, I have hidden an item of great importance. Retrieve it by any means necessary."[/color]
