Yasushi was already fit and healthy before he died, but now he's nothing short of a bioweapon. Through willpower alone he can reduce or even eliminate any pain inflicted upon him. He can grow his nails to the length and sharpness of talons, and push bone through flesh to form deadly spines. Inherent with this offensive power is great defensive potential, too, as his wounds heal at a near-visible rate; and of course, since the same principles apply to his muscles as to his skeletal tissues, he no longer needs to go to the gym to stay in shape.

He wonders if, with less genetic luck, he would have been able to cure leukemia or blindness or any other disease which afflicted him. He knows not of what he will be capable given enough time and training, either; adjusting his eyes to see in the dark? Molding the contours of his face, so he can rob a bank and escape justice (and look more handsome to girls while doing it)? Sprout wings to fly, and fins to swim like an arrow? Maybe he'll be able to shape others' bodies as he can shape his own.
