[@vietmyke] Theoretically, yes. However, there have been no instances of this occurring yet, and the cuttings themselves tend to produce weaker clones of the original - perfectly viable for keeping the Dryad alive, but less reliable. Plus, even with the innate magic of a Dryad so close to them, the cuttings become unviable after a while anyway. It's hardly impossible, but not terribly likely. Plus, it's not like keeping the tree alive would keep the Dryad out of harm's way - and there are plenty of people who'd like to hurt Dryads, for all sorts of reasons.
