[@Archangel89] The artefacts are a broadly defined group of objects, really. The key thing about them is that they were all around at the time of the sundering, and held significance in some way. They then absorbed some of the magic that became present during the sundering, and held onto it. Most of them have ceased to exist since then, through general wear and tear, or the magic wearing off.

Whilst it is possible that a prosthetic limb could have absorbed this magic and retained it til the present day, it's unlikely that it would still function as a limb. Furthermore, the Heavens' Eyes would have seized it by now. Anyone it was attached to would have been quite unceremoniously disposed of.
