[@Adalrod] Synthetics? Probably not, advanced droids? Possibly- typically for use as combat support, heavy lifters etc. Cybernetics and robotic prosthesis is the typical limit of advancement in the whole robotics world. Definitely not synthetics in the Stellaris sense though. 

This RP isn't a first come first served deal, so I'll be taking choosing 4-5 pilots around thursday/friday. If you wish to apply go ahead and write something up and I'll try to get timely feedback.
