Oops, triple post. But its my thread so I don't care as much if I do it. Coolios, lets get some feedback out before I drown in submissions. First off, a bit of book keeping, [@GrimmReconz] I assume from the voids where your original post and comments are, you are no longer interested in this concept? [@BingTheWing]
I like the idea of a cocky hotshot. Saves me the trouble of making a cocky hotshot NPC- that is a vast oversimplification of Anuri's personality, but in general I like it. The character overall seems well grounded but not generic or boring- a small time hero letting the fame get to his head. I expect interesting interactions between him and our resident Harridan pilot.
[@AngryBadger]
And our lookit, our first rookie application is the space-age equivalent of a farmer boy. A simple enough character, with excellent potential for interaction and RP. By the books, but youthful and able to be molded. Nothing stands out to me as wrong with this character, and I like his background story.
[@Sovi3t]
So I know his callsign is MW - probably for Moe Williamson, but while he's onboard the Galatia, people will probably refer to him as 'Gramps'. His background makes no mention of his assignment to the Direwolves or the Galatia however, unless the 114th was a typo. Due to his advanced age, he'd likely be consider a reserve pilot than a full time pilot, but I'd come up with some random RP reasons to get him into the mix, because sitting on the sidelines is never fun. My only other gripe is that I have no idea what Moe looks like. Right now, I just have a bog standard 'Commander Sheppard' look in my head.
[@Oni_]
Raw recruit #2. I actually like the dynamic Elizabeth has when compared with farmer boy. Sunny and dynamic to green and by-the-books. Looking at all these character apps also makes me realize that everyone likes to be from a space station, because that's probably easier to name than planets/colonies. I also like her whole training story- lots of fuck ups, lots of fun. Also, 144th, not 114th.
