This surprisingly includes those who abuse their power for violence. Catherine has gone through two major episodes in her life, one of wanton, selfish, free-spiritedness, and one of absolute obedience. She avoids confrontation and dislikes conflict.  She also has fairly low self-confidence and is quite humble because of it.  She's the kind who just wants everyone to get along, but she lacks the qualities to be an actual peacemaker, let alone a leader.  ShiZhen is also very studious and intelligent.[/indent][b]History:[/b][indent]Born the fourth of seven children to parents trying to make ends meet in rural China, ShiZhen didn't know how she was supposed to fit in, needing to juggle the obedience to her parents and older siblings with the responsibilities of taking care of her younger siblings. The family did well enough to send her and her siblings to school, but she did have to help with the family business once she got home everyday. One day, however, ShiZhen became the center of supernatural, water-related phenomena. Fortunately, the Fangs were family friends with the Vanguards, Jake being the same age as ShiZhen, with Jake's parents tellin ShiZhen's parents about the academy.
