"We met in school, we knew each other back like 20 plus years ago but didn't become friends until high school.  We typically ran with different crowds.  High school though we discovered our like of cars.  He did some 'acting' out in California for several years and came back with lots of money so, I fed some of his addictions with cars.  We have been friends ever since."
