"Yup, you push the black button by your cord and wait for the other person to press theirs.  It counts you down and you pull the trigger.  You only have to controller the trigger, it will turn for you but it will spin you out or toss you from the track if you take a corner too fast or too slow.  I have it set so you can take it full throttle for most of it."

He puts his car on the line in the staging area and pushes the button, turning the lights on for his side.

"That car you have is capable of launching hard but the launch if you don't feather the throttle will make you lose traction if you just pin it from the start."

He tells her and waits for her to push her button.
