[@Gunther]Oh, bear in mind, of course, the penetrative capability of the .338 is outdone by the .50 BMG and the Cheytac .480 . .338 Lapua, I believe is more anti-personnel than anti-material, right?
I'm not looking for an Anti-Material Rifle caliber weapon such as the .50 BMG or even the .480. All I need is an anti-personnel weapon. The current adaptations of the .338 Lapua are as follows: Barrett Model 98B bolt action rifle with a 10-round magazine Savage 110 BA bolt action rifle with 5-round magazine FNH Ballista bolt action rifle with 8-round magazine Armalite AR-30A1 bolt action rifle with 5-round magazine Bolt action rifles are much more accurate than gas operated versions. This discussion is more pedantic/edifying than productive. She will not carry this rifle on any raids where she needs to infiltrate stealthily into a ship such as our current operation. If a future op calls for support fire she would have it available. But sword, dagger or an SMG as back up would be sufficient for the current op. Unless, yes of course she is to fill a ranged role in support.
