So I just kind of hammered this one out quickly I guess. ^^; She's supposed to come off as one of those naive noble girls who don't really understand the lower classes despite trying to fit in with them, I guess.  Anyways, hope this is okay.

[*]Background: The daughter of a noble family of Vista, Paella has always been considered as one of the elite.  Growing up she had her every whim and want attended to, and was gifted with the finest education that money could buy, as well as tuition in the magical arts.  However, she always felt a bit... Hollow, lonely even, her upbringing keeping her seperated from others.  Gazing out her window every day, she'd see the commoner children playing happily together, and would've given anything... Well, not quite [i]anything[/i] but the fact remained that she really wished she could spend time with others.

As news spread of the growing monster attacks, she realized that she suddenly had her chance.  After all, she had been taught magic, so surely she would be of help to any adventuring party, right?  Without even discussing it with her parents, she snuck out one day to heed the king's request... Even if she didn't have much experience with the world outside her family's estate.
