So needless to say, her expression was less than favorable to the ringmaster. Regardless, the fire continued to burn. Boris, having made it out, cackled madly as it raged. The others were trying to put it out and they stood there talking. He called on her to find Folly and bring her home so that she could burn. It astounded her that they could talk so openly about a young girl being burned like she was the modern Joan of Arc, but she shouldn't be surprised anymore. The world worked differently now. "If you expect this madness to stop once Folly is back and burned, you need to rethink your plan. He's a case with or without his daughter." She thought back to her fortune. She had to find Folly, that much was true. But she wasn't about to have the girl's death on her conscious. As dirty and tainted as her conscious was, she wasn't about to tarnish it more with that. "I'll find her. I can't promise before midnight, but I'll find her. I promise." With a flourish, she made her way towards her tent again. This called for something more than fortune telling. If she wanted to find Folly, she needed help and the only help that would be useful now was someone who may have seen her. Calling for a spirit was dangerous if not handled with care, but she had practice. So she closed her eyes and called out, "Spirits, hear my plea. If you are near, come forth and speak. I have need of you." She stood there silently and motionless until she felt the chill on her spine and a small gust of wind blew. She opened her eyes to see a man before her. The man wasn't your average joe, based on his appearance, he seemed to have stepped from a western movie. His spectral appearance didn't give way to his good looks though. Had he a physical form, she may even be tempted. "Spirit, what is your name?" The man tipped his hat to her, "Durke is the name, darling. Might I say you are a pretty thing. It was getting boring just wandering around. My burden to bear though. You called for me?" "I am looking for a young girl. She has brown hair, pale skin. Around 17 years old. She was here and left. Did you see her?" Durke walked around, looking at the fire that still burned. He let out a low whistle, "Y'all know how to throw a real hoedown huh? Can't say I know where the girl went, but I did see her around. I haven't been around here long, as I like to wander since I ain't got much else to do. She seemed worried from what I gathered, but I only saw her head towards those tents over yonder. After that, I am not sure. Sorry I couldn't be much help. Maybe you can.." Before he could continue, Lilith clapped her hands, "Goodbye Durke. Thanks for your help." Durke spiraled and dissipated. She wasn't sure if he was still there, but at the moment he couldn't do anything else. She left him to wander some more. She made her way over to the tents. The family "room" sat outside of them and she knew the little tent was Folly's. If the girl stopped here before she ran, perhaps she would find a clue. She stepped inside and began to search.
