[b]Personality[/b] Cold, distant, independent and untrusting. Kain is the quiet type who shuts himself off from others and avoids emotional situations. He comes across as careless and selfish but it's all just a front.

[b]Biography:[/b] Despite his appearance and attitude Kain comes from a posh well off family. His parents important respected and influential members of the small housing community of New Hope. But behind the solid oak doors of the luxurious three story house not all was as it seemed. 

A picture perfect image of success from the outside was diseased and cracked within. A father who had late night meetings, a mother in denial who secretly coped through substance abuse. Kain's older brother was adored for his physical and sporting success while Kain fell to the wayside living in shadows and tiptoeing around on egg shells all day.

High expectations, strict rules, mysophobia, competitiveness, these are things Kain had to deal with constantly. The uptight life didn't suit him. When his older brother left for New York with his girl friend. Nothing held Kain to his home and he ran away to live on the steers instead. He can be arrogant and rude but it's all a defence to hide his fear of emotional attachment.
