Esther von Degraff

Esther heard Gerhardt's rallying shout, and then Leon's own shout giving his readiness to follow with his plan. She was filled with hesitation. Should she join them down there? Safety in numbers was one of the most basic teachings of the academy after all. But for her, who wasn't really used to battle at all, jumping into the middle of the fight sound like a suicidal move. Thankfully, the enemy kindfully nudged her along to her choice, by having some of their riflemen aiming at her. She let a loud "Eeep!" as she covered her head with her hands before crouching to the ground, as a futile attempt to escape the bullets heading towards her, even though the wind barrier created by her vessel blocked all of their attacks just fine. Like I said, she still was not used to this whole war business. With her being a target like this, she might as well join the others. At least that way she could take off some steam from herself. And so she quickly transformed her vessel back to its dormant state, used its power to do a far leap right towards where Gerhardt and Leon were. It should've made her vulnerable for any bullets that happened to cross her paths, but the riflemen targeting her certainly did not expect her to do such a bold move. And so she landed relatively safely; relatively since due to her nervousness she botched her landing and tripped as her feet touched the ground, making her fall face first to the ground. It would be a hilarious scene if not for the fact that they were in the middle of a life and death battle now. "A-ah, I-I'm sorry!" she said to Gerhardt and Leon after she stood up on her feet once more. "I really need to be less clumsy..." she said to herself, though loud enough for the two to hear. "A-anyway, what's the battle plan? I'm willing to do anything you order me too!" she continued. She never saw herself as a good strategist, or a good thinker in general, so she thought she should leave the thinking to the others. [@Mercurial][@Mega Birb]
