Hearing her talking about her mom he shakes his head.

"My dad was never around, he was thrown in prison when I was 3 for raping my half sister.  He got out when I was 8, saw him 1 time and never saw him again.  Heard from him twice after I grew up and was in no mood to let him back into my life so I ended up being raised by a single mother.  As for food, I will make sure you get enough to eat while you are here."

He smiles at her.  Eating the chicken he licks his lips.

"This is really good.  I bet you could make a killer white chicken chili."
