The former just hoped his older brother could control himself while he got things done. He held Lin in close as they searched for the woman... what was her name? Linda. Jake learned all sorts of things about her when Lin and Gabe was running things over with him. It was disgusting to know one of the Founding Family's favorite dogs was just living her life. Jake would love to turn her life over on her head, but Jake also knew that it'd be counter intuitive at this point. Do you see her? Jake sent the message over to Lin, as he looked around... and realized he was in a busy club. Well, I take that back. Let's check the bar. The two moved over to the bar, and hoped that Linda was there. Lin sat down first, and Jake right next to her. He smiled at his girlfriend as he looked her in the eye. The bartender walked up, when Jake said, "Long island iced tea." "I don't drink, so do you have water?" Lin said, and the bartender nodded, and prepared Jake's drink. When he took one look at the other people at the bar. Usually young folks out clubbing, but there was an older woman all by herself, with a drink. Jake narrowed his eyes... she was fair-featured, freckles, curly brown hair, and wore jeans and a vest. Oh, that's Linda. Far ahead of you, Jake. Lin said, as she looked at Jake, and said (out loud this time), "Oh, Jake, that's one of the employees for my father's corporation. Let's go talk to her." Jake immediately got why she spoke out loud (and it did look weird two lovers staring at eachother). Just follow my lead. Lin sent him the telepathic message as she got up and walked over towards Linda. "Hey, Linda?" She said to the older woman, and got her attention. "How are you doing? I haven't seen you in awhile." The woman awkwardly smiled, and Jake could tell she knew something was up. Or was it just guilt? Either way, long as she wasn't running, everything was gonna turn out fine. "Oh, hello Lin... I... um," Linda trailed off as she scratched the back of her neck. "Oh, what's wrong?" Lin asked. "I just never expected to see you here... I mean you are one of the daughters of Jiao-Long... in this dump?" Linda explained, and Lin just smiled. "I wouldn't have come here, but Jake dragged me here," Lin said as she grabbed onto Jake's arms, and he smiled confidently. "Yeah, I just thought that coming to a club once wouldn't hurt." Jake said, "It's nice to meet an employee of Jiao-Long." "Want to go to the VIP lounge?" Lin asked, "I can't hear anything!" Linda nodded her head. "Lead the way!" The trio went over to the VIP lounge, but Lin had a few things to tell Jake. Something that she wanted to do... I don't think we should jump the gun... lemme see what her thoughts are, and at least confirm she's with the Founding Family. Lin sent Jake the thought, and he nodded. It wasn't long before the trio got into a booth that Lin was able to secure with a wave of her fingers. With Jake and Lin on one side, and Linda on the other. The two kept smiling, and steady eye-contact with the woman. "Well, Linda, how's life?" Lin asked. "I imagine you're quite the scientist!" For a moment, Linda pondered, "Life's been going well, it's been a little tough with the Saviors upping their standards a bit, but I've managed." "That's great," Lin asked, and Jake wondered when she'd pop the question. His mind could only take so much awkward small talk. "How's your father been doing?" Linda asked, "I know it's tough getting to the top minds of the Savior Foundation... but, I've been curious." Lin grinned slightly, as if Linda entered her trap, "Well... life's been really hard on my father lately. He's been really stressed." She started off, "He wants to help people... but ever since what happened with the Founding Family... it's been weighing down on him." Why is she telling me all of this? Linda thought to herself. Lin shook her head, while keeping her eyes on Linda's mind, before she continued, "I think he's developed a mild obsession with them... he just keeps pacing around in his room repeating...." She briefly glanced at Jake, worryingly. "... Serve perfectum est imperfectus." That was when Linda's eyes went wide, and she thought to herself. Mr. Liu is with the remnants... that doesn't any sense. He fought against the Family to the bitter end... Perfect. Lin thought to herself, before she looked at Jake. She's with the Founding Family. She sent a mental message to everyone in the group. Johnny was currently eating shrimp when he heard Lin's voice. Oh baby! Just when Johnny thought it was a waste of time coming to this clusterfuck of kids twerking on each other. He was just about ready to explode! Now, it was showtime. The Valos was going to show this bitch why they set the bar for excellence so damn high that nobody can reach it. He ate the shrimp, and pushed himself away from the table, and closed in on the VIP lounge. Now, all they had to do was capture the bitch, and then they'd get some interrogations done. Maybe Johnny will get Mika to give her a lapdance. Nothing will break a human mind faster than Mika's disgusting fat body moving sensually.
The bathroom of the club however was lively as the dancefloor, but in it's own way. "... I'm not going to take that," A boy said to his friend, who offered him a pink. "You know what that shit does to people?" "This is the problem, bro!" His friend answered, "You're too tight, too weighed down... you just need a little bit of... Happiness." He shook his head, worried about the stories of people getting aggressive and attacking people when on that shit. He couldn't even fathom taking it. He merely turned away, and walked out of the bathroom. "More for me," He said to his friend as he took the pill, and smiled like a fool as he fell backwards. Every second the effect of the Happiness drug got even more enjoyable for him. He felt a pleasure overcome him, as all he could think were happy thoughts. He felt a joy like no other as all of his pain, all of his worries, all of his fears, utterly disappeared. That was the power of a simple pink pill, after all. One of the things the drug did, however, was mute his ability to sense. He couldn't even notice that somebody had walked into the room, and stood over him for a moment. Before he felt a sting in the side of his neck, and something entering him. "H-huh?" He asked, as he looked around. He tried to push himself to his feet to face the woman. "Hey, sweetie, I think you're really cute," A feminine voice spoke, he couldn't process it. He felt someone grab his hand. "How about we go dance?" "Yeah..." The man said, believing that he just bagged a girl, the drug warping his mind to the point where he had no idea what was real, and what was fantasy. He was pulled through the crowds, until he was in the center of the dancefloor. He just went with it... and started dancing to the flow of the music. Before he came to an abrupt stop, freezing like a stone, as he stared straight up at the lights above him. Something was wrong. The pleasure ended without a warning, and not only that... he felt his entire body burn. He was so hot right now that it felt like he was on fire! But, there was not a single flame on him. He dropped to his knees as he stared at his hands, patting his arms and legs. "Oh my God, somebody help me!" The man shouted as everyone stared at him. He killed the party vibe. "What's wrong with him?" "Is he tweaking?" But, that wasn't the end of it. He began to experience a pain like no other, and was forced to drop to his hands and knees. He loudly yelled as he uncontrollably spasmed. Steam began to come off his body as it began to... bloat. He underwent a transformation that caused massive tumor-like growths to form all over his body. His head and torso merged into one large, deformed bodypart that was similar to a block in appearance. His right-arm grew several growths until it was no longer an arm, but a hideous club. His legs were also bloated in comparison to make up for his increase in size and weight. His head was still topped with the same black hair that he had, but his face was not even there anymore. His eyes were black and beady, his mouth was merely a bloody opening with a mass of deformed teeth. There was nothing else. No nose, no ears, nothing. Just a horrid abomination. He was oozing blood from the transformation. Everyone had screamed, and gave him distance... but, once it was over. He stood high and mighty, and stared everyone down. He used to be overcome with happiness, but all he could feel was.... ... rage. The former human let out a wail that no human being could make, and ran at the crowd of people with surprising speed. He threw one blow, and someone was sent flying into a wall, killing them instantly. Everyone ran for the door.
"Holy shit." Johnny and Gabe were unfortunate enough to witness the transformation that took place. It looked painful... and honestly, they were too shocked to even move. Johnny's seen some shit before, but this takes the cake. It topped shit mountain in terms of what-the-fuck factor. "... That is the most horrifying thing I've ever seen in my entire life." The beast went on a rampage while everyone was running around. Why does mayhem and destruction always follow the Valos wherever the hell they went? Johnny was starting to wonder if they were a magnet for this shit. Well, no matter... They had to get the hell out of here. Jake and Lin looked on in horror... before Linda got the hell out of there. "Wait, Linda!" Lin said, before she hopped to her feet. She tugged at Jake, and said, "We can't lose her now!" The two ran after Linda, as Lin sent a message to the others. She's running for the exit! ... And that was what Johnny was worried about. Just when everything was going so well. Ugh! He'll just have to handle this himself! Gabe pointed both hands at the monster, and they glew with a red light that burned Johnny's eyes just by looking at them. And the firestarter was being herself.... Johnny pushed her hands down, before he said, "Heeeeeey there, firestarter," He started off. "Let RAVEN handle this, Linda gettin' away!" While Gabe wanted to fry this thing, and get it over with, she knew it sure as hell wasn't a Valos fight. She just nodded her head and followed Johnny as they ran after Linda.
