If the bolt hit him in the chest where the first one did, then it would probably spread the same amount, so it would be the best place to be hit if such is unavoidable. As for killing or neutralizing the knight...chances are slim, but he had some ideas on that...it might be futile, but still. If his enemy was willing to take Kael down despite everything, then Kael would be happy to respond in kind.
