It had been more thorough than he had thought it would be, which allowed him to tune out the rest of the answers to the questions asked by his fellow newborns that had joined him in following their Chieftain. He was ill suited for both the Adventurer's Guild and foraging on his own, but taking from the trees and hunting animals. Sure he knew how to do both, but neither particularly interested him. Even if he was only a goblin scavenging in the wilds to survive seemed too...basic of a lifestyle for him. This thought caused his lips to pull downwards, it would seem he had the unfortunate placement to feel as though he was above the life he was given. He would just have to ensure that he managed to evolve to a more suitable form sooner rather than later. No a life among the other goblins did not suit him in the slightest, not in this idyllic forest where they hunted and foraged as they were meant to. But he couldn’t very easily live with the humans in their city, he did not know the tongue they spoke in. Then again he was small, he could find locations to hide while learning the language. It would take work, but anything worth pursuing did. His first stop would have to be the library, once he made it to the city of course. With the beginning of a plan beginning to form his focus shifted from his inner thoughts to the outside world once again. Apparently they had been walking long enough that they arrived in front of a goblin, presumably the Chief’s son, and a human woman in the start of a standoff. The words spoken between the pair were completely foreign, going right over his head. There was heat between the two, but a distinct lack of actual hostility. Soon after this was confirmed by the chief as he told the group to watch the ensuing demonstration closely. Following the instructions he was given his eyes locked onto the pair before him, brilliant auras surrounding them both just prior to their charges. If it weren’t for the glows surrounding the woman he would have lost complete sight of her, even as it was he could barely keep up with her. The vibrations that followed every collision between the two burrowed into his skull, though it stopped short of causing actual pain. The next vibration created after the two had upped their power output did begin to cause a minor throbbing in the back of his head, not that he could pay any attention to it as he was enthralled by the display of strength happening before his eyes. It was fascinating, not something he would have any desire to manage on his own but it was something that he found interesting nonetheless. Soon enough the spectacle came to an end and the two began to exchange words once more in the language he could not fathom. The other newborns with him launched into questions towards the chief once the display had come to an end, he had another destination in mind. With purpose he walked towards Sabu and the woman, who had apparently not noticed they had company as of yet. He directed his gaze towards Sabu, as he was unsure if the woman understood their tongue. ”That was astounding to witness, the sheer power and finesse showcased between you two was unreal. I am Rekzild, a newborn member of your clan. I don’t know if your companion can understand my words so if she cannot would you be willing to translate my praise to her as well?”
