Quinn - Sam's Apartment
The wording Sam chose slightly confused Quinn for a moment. Though it was hard to tell if it was what he said, how he said it, or the fact that her senses were slowing failing her. Even the noise seemed to be getting more distant. Bracing herself against the wall she thought over her options. She really didn't want to go back to her place. That prospect was far less appealing. In fact the potential of sleeping in a stranger's house sounded slightly more comforting than the alternative. Her fear of the numinous overshadowed any potential fear of Sam. Not moving with a dull but tired expression for a couple minutes she glanced first at the bedroom before turning her head slightly to look back down the hall in the direction of the living room. "I think I'd rather pick the couch where you can keep an eye on me in case..." She caught herself before she blerted out something crazy. No one would believe that she was worried shadows were going to attack her. At that point she wouldn't be worrying about finding a place to stay but trying to get out of a mental hospital. "Never mind. I just don't want to be left alone right now." Having resigned to crash on the couch she turned and headed that direction. However much she didn't want to sleep her body was going to make her at some point, fear and distractions be damned. Making it to the edge of the couch she just flopped down face first. Whether the couch was actually soft or not didn't register. The sweet embrace of rest took her shortly after as she fell asleep. Thankfully for her she'd had the foresight to get at least the next day off work. Then again when you go around work like a zombie your supervisor tends to take notice. [@duskshine749]
