I’m happy to drive her to school.” Callie's comment brought both relief and a slight irritation to Leo. He was honestly kind of relieved that he didn't have to take Alexis; he was by no stretch of the imagination oblivious, and he completely understood why a girl Alexis' age wouldn't want a ride from Leo. But at the same time, Callie needed sleep. She was probably juicing on some kind of unhealthy potion cocktail to keep her going. Callie was an exquisite potion master, and Leo understood that she probably had some of the finest brewed potions in the the country, however he still didn't approve of her using them that way. Potions always left Leo feeling sick and shakey, and he was certain that they had long term effects. ”Really, it’s no trouble. I shall be fine, Leo, you do not need to worry about me.” Leo nodded, however he subtly cast Callie a side glance to check up on her. There weren't that many signs of exhaustion; her posture was slightly slouched, and she leaned a little too heavily against the counter, but other than that, he couldn't catch any signs of exhaustion. Not even any bags under her eyes- The soft plop of a marshmallow into orange juice disrupted Leo's observations, causing his head to jerk up as he caught Magnus' gaze. A white marshmallow floated in the center of his glass, gently rocking back and forth as the Druid held the Warlock's gaze. Leo's lips parted slightly, but before he could make any comment or cast a spell, the fluffy white object floated from the drink and landed on Magnus' nose. ”Children, I won’t have food fighting in my house.” Leo bit his lip slightly and considered pushing the subject, just to rile up Magnus' and his grumpy attitude a little more, but he was cut off as Callie said something that quite surprised him. ”I think it’s time you got recognised as being a witch. You have the skills, and the knowledge, this is long past due. In fact, I already have the exam prepared.” Her voice was quite cheerful, however they brought a mix of excitement, dread, and uncertainty to the Warlock. It wasn't exactly the most opportune time for Leo's exam, however he figured Callie had planned it before the previous evening's events. ”You are more then ready for this, Leo, and it will be good for Alexis to see what it takes to become a witch.” Leo looked up at his Coven leader, a disbelieving smile creeping across his face. "Callie, you know I'd be more than thrilled to become a Witch, but are you certain?" Leo knew her answer; Callie wouldn't have even suggested it if she wasn't absolutely positive he was ready. But a Witch's exam was nothing to be taken lightly. Callie had never alluded to what would be on the exam, however Leo had a few general ideas from back during his childhood. Each Coven's exam was unique, and the Witches of the North tended to do a lot of things differently than the less polar Covens. Leo had only heard a couple of stories about Callie's exams. The Warlock gave a long huff and then nodded his head. "If you think I'm ready." Callie handed out Amulets and addressed the group individually as Leo finished his breakfast, suddenly very anxious about his upcoming exam. ”Leo, I don’t think it would be wise to go too far away, at least until we have spoken with Zoé. Please.” Leo met Callie's eyes, looking into them intently. There was a deep worry in them, one that he had seen only a couple of times before. Callie may not have been the resident Clairvoyant, but she certainly had a sense for oncoming storms; her sense for danger rivaled Leo's. "Okay. I think for the time being, if anyone is going to leave town, they should have at least one partner. A highly capable one." Leo turned towards Magnus and nodded. He doubted Alexis would be leaving town any time soon, especially to go on any hikes, but Magnus was a different story. Leo had no idea what the Druid would do, and Leo wanted to make it clear that leaving alone was a terrible idea. As Callie joined the group at the table, Leo took a gulp of his orange juice and scarfed down his meal. "I want to stop by the hospital while you take Alexis to school," Leo said after he had finished swallowing. "We can meet up afterwards to talk to Zoe, but I want to make sure that the other supernaturals in the attack are okay. I'm sure Zoe is taking measures to protect them, but I doubt she can do as much as we can to get them back on their feet."
