He knew however that he couldn’t be selfish. Maybe they could simply spend most of the day here instead. He chuckled at himself. His mirth faded as Aron began to tell him why he smelt like smoke. He frowned, looking at the photo. Cody had never had a chance to meet Aron and Gage's birth parents, and he felt that that was a major loss. Cody's thoughts went a little wild, as he thought on what he could do for Aron. And for Gage. ”Oh, Aron… He said softly, hugging Aron to him. ”We will get you some new stuff” He said, already trying to think how he could manage that. He hugged Aron close, before giving him a bright smile, ”I’m sure I would have like them too. I love you Aron. Let’s preserve the image” He said, taking out his phone, he gently took the photo from Aron, and took a photo of it. Cody had other plans for the image, and he made sure he had a good photo, before handing it back and putting his phone away again. He didn’t think it would take him long, and Cody sat back, savoring their moments together, alone, although he knew they’d have to get moving again real soon. They really couldn’t hide away forever. ”They can’t take away your happiness, Aron. Not now. We won’t let them” He said, his voice strong. Cody would do anything to make sure Aron stayed happy. That thought was a little daunting, although he knew he would follow it through.
